Certain events can instantly change the course of your life. When my infant son Ronin grabbed and chugged a bottle of a common, but toxic substance, I made a panicked call to the Poison Control Hotline. What was this substance? Purell hand sanitizer. Yep. It's toxic to babies if swallowed. Plus its ingredients have been linked to cancer, reproductive issues, allergies and skin irritations. Say WHAT???!!! Fortunately, baby Ronin lived through this incident and I was determined from that point on to remove ANYTHING potentially toxic from our home. As a new mom, I had baby locks on the cabinets to keep the cleaning supplies out of reach, but I was shocked to find that so many other products sitting around the house were so toxic. Even toothpaste and mouthwash are toxic if swallowed. We were blessed that our son's daycare provider, Mary Jensen, introduced us to a lifestyle free of toxins and chemicals. We replaced all of our personal care products (soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, skincare, lotions, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.) and all of our cleaners with fantastically safe products from Young Living. I didn't intend to start a Young Living business because I was content in my high paying corporate job. However, the products worked so well that I was excited to share them with others and refer them to Young Living. Checks started arriving in our mailbox. Suddenly I had created another income stream for our family. Because of corporate job demands, this mom struggled to find balance between work and family. After the loss of my grandma, my dad and our second baby, my priorities totally shifted. I longed for the time freedom to enjoy my family and life in general. I realized that the income opportunity and the time freedom with Young Living far exceeded anything that I could ever achieve in the corporate world. I love teaching others how they too can have this time and income freedom.
